Liar Liar Vampire

Liar Liar Vampire on Nickelodeon! October 12 at 7:00PM!

Q. What can you tell us about "Liar Liar Vampire?"

A. "Liar, Liar Vampire" follows the story of a boy named Davis Pell who's moved from town to town his entire life due to his mum's working life; and because of that he's never actually had any real friends; Until he moves to a new school in the US where everyone, through a series of unfortunate and very embarrassing events believes he's a vampire!

Q.How would you describe "Davis?"

A. Davis is a kind, shy, socially awkward and introverted boy with a heart of gold who longs for real friendship.

Q. Do you have a favorite scene from the movie?

A. There are so many scenes that I really enjoyed filming throughout Liar, Liar Vampire but I'dd have to say that some of my favourite scenes to film were definitely the fight scenes and any scene with the baron.

Q.What was it like working with other Nickelodeon talent like Brec?

A. Working with Brec was an absolute pleasure, she's a real professional and she's super humble and down to earth!

Q. Did anything funny or unusual happen while filming?

A. There were lots and lots of bloopers on my behalf, sometimes while filming comedic scenes it's so hard to keep a straight face!

Q. How did you prepare to play this role? Did you do any extra research or anything?

A. Well, for me when I prepare for a character I try my best to dig deep within myself to find the same qualities that the character has. I spent hours every single night leading up to filming trying to discover different attributes of Davis that I could adapt to my performance, also keeping in mind the audience in which I'm performing too! After work, every couple days or so I would sit down with the director Vince Marcello and we would discuss different ideas and concepts not only for Davis but for the film as a whole because it's all one big collaborative and creative process. Learning from Vince about other aspects of film creation really opened my mind creatively.

Q. Can you tell us about one of your memorable Halloweens?

A. For the past 5 years or so, if I'm in Australia I always go to a family friends house with my family for a BBQ on halloween; everyone always dresses up as something and usually that's the funny part; seeing who dresses up as what and how crazy their costumes are.

Q.Is Halloween typically a big deal for you?

A. Halloween isn't really a thing here in Australia, you can go trick or treating but most people don't really celebrate it and I don't exactly know why. Halloween for me has always just been an excuse to have some fun with the family!

Q. What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up?

A. As I said, Halloween isn't really a thing where I'm from so the costumes weren't very elaborate; one year I went to a halloween party in a Stich onsie from Lilo & Stich.

Q. Do you have any Nickelodeon themed costume ideas for party goers or Trick-or-Treaters this year?

A.TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!! With out a doubt, the ninja turtles are my best pick this year!

Q. If you trick-or-treated when you were younger - what kind of candy did you most hope to get?

A.When I was younger I used to love these lollies called killer pythons! Me and my cousins used to swing them around and always try to find the blue ones! So I imagine that those were the lollies I would've hoped for during Halloween.

Q. What kinds of things scare you the most?

A.To be honest there's not really anything out there that scares me too much, I'm a big believer in facing your fears.

Q. Have you ever "Bent-the-Truth" in real life to try to impress someone? How did that turn out?

A.I also believe honesty is the best policy, the truth always comes out so lying never really justifies anything in my opinion.

Q. Do you have any other projects coming up that we should keep and eye out for?

A.There are a few different things in the mix at the moment, although I can't speak on them! I did just finish hosting the Nickelodeon Slimefest which was such a great experience! It was my first time hosting an event that big and it was a huge slimey success!
