Glee Executive Producer Dante Di Loreto Honored at Education Through Music Gala in NYC May 15
Jane Lynch, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet and Jenna Uhskowitz were on hand to help Glee's Executive Producer celebrate his Education Through Music honor.
Education Through Music (ETM) makes music education a reality for thousands of at-risk children who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to the arts. Since 1991, ETM has harnessed the power of music to enhance the academic performance and general development of its students. Our work provides these children with the skills to become better learners and the confidence to live in an increasingly challenging world. ETM currently serves over 13,000 students in 25 inner-city schools in New York City, and another 6,000 children through its affiliate organizations in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. REVIEW: Being a Teenager is Hard Enough! Imagine Being a Teenage Alien and Trying to Blend in! The Action-Packed Adventure “I Am Number Four” Slams Into Blu-ray and DVD.
John Smith is having a hard time lately. He’s navigating the rocky road of first love with Sarah (the beautiful, Dianna Agron), trying to fit in at school, and oh yeah, trying to hide from the world that he’s an alien. There’s also the little matter of newly developing powers and the fact that three of his kind have been killed. He is number 4 on the list.

From director Michael Bay (Transformers), the action filled film stars Alex Pettyfer as “John” and Timothy Olyphant as his guardian. Bonus material on the DVD includes a “Becoming Number 6” featurette and bloopers. The Blu-ray includes those bonus segments as well as six deleted scenes.

REVIEW: What Happens When You Fall in Love With A Boy From the Wrong Side of the Garden? “Gnomeo and Juliet” Puts A Cartoonish Spin on An Old Classic!
“Gnomeo and Juliet” is a funny take on the Shakespeare Classic “Romeo and Juliet.” Instead of telling the story of star crossed lovers kept apart by their families with human teenagers, this cartoon update uses adorable garden gnomes to tell the tale.
Gnomeo is an adventurous boy from the “Blue” garden who loves to race lawn mowers and wreak havoc with the occupants of the “Red” garden. However, he is also viewed as kind of the “man of the garden” since his father’s passing several years ago (May he rest in pieces). Juliet is an adventurous girl from the “Red” garden who can see a beautiful rare flower from her pedestal. She thinks if she can sneak out and get the flower to plant in her garden, it would surely declare the red side the more beautiful of the two gardens and finally end the feud between the two that has lasted for as long as she can remember.

It’s while sneaking out to snag the rare and beautiful flower (disguised of course) that she meet Gnomeo who is on an adventure of his own and it’s love at first sight. It’s only after the two establish a connection that they realize they are from two very separate worlds.

Because their family and friends are totally against this union (most of them anyway), being together proves to be difficult for the fast new friends. Should they just leave their old lives behind and start a new life together? Isn’t there any way to get these two enemies to find common ground? You’ll have to watch and see!

Review: Marvel’s Favorite Characters are Together Again in the New Animated Series “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!” Volumes 1 and 2 are Available Now on DVD!
Super heroes must unite to save the world in the new animated series “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.” This series brings together fan favorites such as Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man, collectively known as the Avengers, to right the wrong doings of evil villains.
“Volume One: Heroes Assemble!” features the first seven episodes of season one. Episodes like “Iron Man is Born,” “Thor the Mighty” and “The Man in the Ant Hill,” follow the super heroes in their quest for justice against the bad guys who are out to destroy humanity as it is known.
“New Looks, New Heroes” is a bonus feature on Volume One. This segment takes viewers behind the scenes with Supervising Producer, Joshua Fine and Story Editor Christopher Yost as they give you a sneak peak of season two.
The second installment of season one is called “Volume 2: Captain America Reborn!” This set features episodes 8 through 13, the final episodes of season one. In this group of shows, our favorite super heroes battle villains like Klaw, Baron Zemo, and The Enchantress.
Joshua and Christopher are also featured in a bonus segment on Volume 2 called “New Stories, New Threats.” In this segment, the filmmakers take a look at what makes each super hero and villain unique.
