Teen Choice Attendees Get To Check Out The Coolest New Products Thanks to Backstage Creations!
Sure there was plenty of action happening onstage at this year’s Teen Choice Awards but plenty of action was taking place backstage, as well. Celebrity retreat specialists Backstage Creations brought companies to attendees’ attention in a special tent at the Gibson Amphitheater.
Notables mingling under the “Big Top” included Zoe Saldana, Demi Lovato, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, Mark Wahlberg, and Tyra Banks! Companies such as Mead and FiveStar, Logitech and Essie were on hand to discuss their latest products with the celebrities. The actors and performers also had the opportunity to make this event a time of giving by stopping by areas for specific charities. Anyone could easily donate or find out more information on City of Hope, USO, and Partnership for a Healthier America.

Meet Travis Turner ("Marley & Me: The Puppy Years")
The world fell in love with Marley, a troublesome but lovable dog who wreaked havoc in his owner’s life. Imagine what kind of trouble this canine got in as a puppy? One possible scenario plays out in the home entertainment release, “Marley & Me: The Puppy Years.”
Travis Turner is a hard-working young actor that you might have seen when he guest-starred on shows like “Supernatural” and “Caprica.” He had a fun time playing “Bodi Grogan” and interacting with his canine co-stars in “Marley and Me: The Puppy Years.”
Recently, the busy guy (who makes music and performs in his spare time) answered a few questions for us so we could all get to know him better!

Meet Dan Benson ("Hanna's Gold")
Two wealthy sisters from Beverly Hills get a real wake-up call when they are sent to stay (and work) with their estranged father on a horse ranch. The girls are bored out of their minds until rumors of a buried treasure send them on the journey of a lifetime.
The film stars real-life sisters Morissa and Alana O’Mara as Hanna and Jasmine. Original ‘90210’ star Luke Perry plays their tough but caring father. Dan Benson (Wizards of Waverly Place) co-stars as Luke, a local who joins the girls on their hunt.
Disney Channel viewers will recognize Dan Benson from his multi-episode stint on “Wizards of Waverly Place” where he played Justin’s friend “Zeke Beakerman.” The Springfield, Missouri native has been acting since he was fifteen years old. After moving to Florida he landed a talent agent who encouraged Dan and his brothers to try their luck in Los Angeles. He’s been turning up in television and movies ever since.
We recently touched base with the up-and-coming actor to learn more about him and the time he spent working on “Hanna’s Gold.”

Kellan Lutz Launches into Fashion
Breaking Dawn has wrapped. Immortals has too. So what does one do while they wait for the publicity push before the movies come out? If you're Kellan Lutz you team up with a fashion designer buddy and create your own line. Kellan has teamed with designer Danny Guez to be the face of his denim line, Dylan George, and to launch the new line, Abbot + Main, which features knits and t-shirts designed by the duo.
This week Kellan turned up the heat at the Nordstrom at the Grove in Los Angeles as he met with fans, took pictures and just generally made everyone's day a little bit brighter. Kellan's sparkling personality was on high-beam as he hugged, chatted up and struck whatever pose he was asked to.

Something to Sing About... "Glee" Stars Shine at the "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie!"
The stars of "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" were out in full force on Saturday, August 6 to celebrate the movie with their families, friends, co-stars and even a few lucky fans who won entry into the star-studded screening. Fans began hanging out at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, CA as early as 3:30 AM for the event that didn't have the performers arriving until 6:30 that evening.
They weren't disappointed though as fan favorites Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, Amber Riley and Darren Criss spent a ton of time signing autographs and posing for pictures as they made their way up the red carpet. Celebrity guests including "Kick It's" Dylan Riley Snyder, and "Modern Family's" Sarah Hyland posed for photos before heading in to see the movie.
You can head to your local theater on Friday, August 12 to sing along with your favortie "Glee" characters.

Turning the Tides… “Soul Surfer” Inspires When All Hope is Lost!
Bethany Hamilton was lucky that by the time she entered her teen years, she already had a life long passion in surfing. What started out as a routine day in the water quickly could have turned deadly when a shark attacked Bethany. The courageous teen survived but lost her left arm in the horrible incident. Family and friends thought she may never surf again. They underestimated this young woman and her love of the sport.
This inspiring story is being told beautifully in a new home video release called “Soul Surfer.” Directed by Sean McNamara and starring the incredibly talented AnnaSophia Robb, viewers will take a ride of ups and downs as you see how quickly Bethany’s world is turned inside out and the agonizing and joyous steps that are taken to find her love of life again. You will cry. You will cheer! Mostly, you will be inspired to never give up on whatever it is that fuels your excitement for living.
