GBK & Tic Tac® Emmy Awards Gift Lounge Blends Charity and Gifting to Gear Up for Big Night
Award winning gift lounge producers GBK teamed up with Tic Tac® for this year’s Emmy weekend gift giving and charity lounge at the W Hotel in Hollywood. Emmy presenters and nominees were treated to the latest in beauty, food, art and social networking.
One of the big themes of the weekend was charity, and there were several sponsors and charities that came together to make this event happen. At the title sponsor, Tic Tac® not only provided several new flavors in their “red carpet survival kit” they also donated $100,000 to CancerCare. Presenting sponsors included Green Smoke, ComforPedic by Simmons and Ancestry.com. New social media networking company BLENDR, LLC hosted the Emmy’s Preview Mixer and charity groups The Art of Elysium, Teach for America and A New Way of Life Reentry Project were all a part of this star studded event.

Tic Tac® previewed their newest flavors just for the Emmy Red Carpet which included Pink Grapefruit, Power Mint and Fresh Mint in their “Emmy Red Carpet Survival Kit” which included a SOHO cosmetic bag. New social media networking company BLENDR, LLC hosted the Emmy’s Preview Mixer on Thursday night and were on hand all weekend to tell folks about their new iPhone, iPad and Facebook app BLENDR where you can meet people in your area who have the same interests. The Art of Elysium were on hand to talk about their organization which encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily donate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. They provide artistic workshops in acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing. As a part of their presentation author Robert Kroupa was signing and giving away his book “Just Like You,” which he wrote to teach young kids about acceptance and tolerance.
