Young Talent Steps Out to Support The T.J. Martell Foundation's Family Day L.A.!

Actors and musicians alike gathered at CBS Studios to support cancer research at the T.J. Martell Foundation's Family Day L.A. The celebrities in attendance had quite a lot to share about their passion for charitable causes. They told us a little about their Halloween plans too, as well as advice for other kids who want to support charities. "It just makes you feel really good inside because you're helping other people that don't have what you have," says actress Amber Barbell.

Scotty McCreery Lends His Talent to Make the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" Even Better!

He captured the nation's attention last year when he was chosen as the winner of "American Idol" in May of 2011. Since then, young country-crooner, Scotty McCreery has been delighting thousands of country music fans by hitting the road and performing songs from his platinum-selling album, "Clear as Day" live and in person.

We talk to the country crooner about putting together a Christmas album, balancing college and a successful music career, and what he's looking forward to in the coming year.

I did dress up quite a bit when I was a kid for Halloween. I wasn’t really a candy kid, I’m just weird like that, but one year I dressed up as a skeleton, black suit… and all you could see was just the bones, right? I went around and trick or treated, but when I got home I laid down like I was dead, like I was some kind of mannequin or something and then as the kids would come closer I’d jump up and scare the daylights out of them. It was the best! I like surprising people but I never knew it until that moment, I just got to scare them and it was fun. I try for more pleasant surprises these days.

JANA KRAMER
My favorite Halloween costume was when I went out as Sporty Spice. It was hilarious because all of my girlfriends dressed up as the other Spice Girls. We had a blast!

Nick: I was the Karate Kid one year for Halloween.

Damien: The Karate Kid?! Ralph Macchio!

Nick: Yeah, my mom made the costume herself and it was still my favorite Halloween.

Damien: Those are always the fun ones. My mom made me Dracula for Halloween with lipstick running down… it was horrible.

Nick: What’s up with that?

Damien: All the kids thought I was a drag queen. It was horrible.

Krista: I had more fun giving out the candy. I was a decorating queen and loved to go all out with the lights and the cobwebs and this and that. So I was usually at home, but my favorite costume was a sumo wrestler. I was a sumo wrestler. Yes, I was huge. I looked like I was 300 pounds.

Brett Eldredge was Mickey Mouse one year and upon reflection says:

I thought to myself, this is so unfair that my brother gets to be a dinosaur and I’m stuck with Mickey Mouse!? I mean, dinosaurs could eat a mouse in a bow tie in a matter of seconds! Dangit, mom! I'm still not letting it go...

Hollywood Hits All the Right Notes at the “Pitch Perfect” Premiere!

Universal Pictures and Gold Circle Films celebrated the release of their latest film “Pitch Perfect” at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood on September 24.  Cast, filmmakers and special guests walked the red carpet in support of this hilarious movie which hits select theaters on Friday, September 28 and then has a wider release on October 5. 

Cast members Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Ben Platt, Skylar Astin, Ester Dean, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Hana Mae Lee, and Shelley Regner reunited at the premiere and mingled with other members of “Young Hollywood.” Disney Channel faves like Dylan Riley Snyder, Caroline Sunshine, Bella Thorne, Billy Unger and Adam Irigoyen also stopped by to check out the film before its official release.

“Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” features your favorite lost animals as they continue to journey home.  Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe are joined by King Julien, Maurice and the penguins in another adventure as they try to get back to the Central Park Zoo in New York and the life they accidentally left behind.

In the third installment of this popular franchise, the group causes a ruckus in a Monte Carlo casino which brings them to the attention of Captain Dubois.  She’s an animal control officer on a power trip and wants nothing more than Alex’s head mounted on her wall. 

In an effort to hide from Dubois, the gang tries to blend in with a traveling circus by pretending to be performers.  The circus introduces us to a whole new group of characters to laugh at and love including Gia, an acrobatic cheetah, and Sofia, a dancing bear.

FOX Had a Feeling It Would Be a Hit! “Touch: The Complete First Season” is Now Available on DVD!
