The Competition is Tough as Your Favorite Athletes Hope You Declare Them a Winner!

They keep us on the edge of our seats during nail-biting competitions, serve as role-models for those who need motivation to achieve our goals, and spend much of their life training and perfecting (usually) one talent. Let's face it... athletes rule! Nickelodeon is giving them their due credit at the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports 2019 ceremony. The final decision was in your hands when you voted for your sporty faves!

Emmy-Award winner and Super Bowl Champion, Michael Strahan (who hosted the very first KCSA's) will host this year's fun-filled event. Pre-taped last month, the show airs at 8:00PM EST, August 10 on Nickelodeon.

"'Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports is a one-of-a-kind awards show that brings all-star athletes, kids and of course, slime together," said Strahan. "When I hosted the first year of the show, I loved it-the energy, stunts, kids, crowd and slime...a lot of slime! Hosting this show has been one of my favorite things I've done, and this year is going to be the biggest, the baddest and the slimiest."

Athletes scheduled to appear include Dwyane Wade, Megan Rapinoe, Lindsey Vonn, Rob Gronkowski, Odell Beckham, Jr., Tom Brady, Nikki Bella, Shaun White, Chloe Kim, Zion Williamson, Laurie Hernanadez, Kawhi Leonard and more! There is also a show-stopping performance from Grammy-Award Winner, Ciara, who takes the stage to rock the crowd with a medley of her hits.
