Nominees have been chosen.The golden popcorn statues are ready to be handed out. Now it’s up to you, the faithful fans, to vote on who gets to take them home. Below is the list of the nominees for this year’s MTV Movie Awards. It is no surprise that this year’s three biggest movie franchises, “Harry Potter,” “The Hunger Games” and “The Twilight Saga” are going head to head to head in almost all the categories. And this year there are a few new categories to vote on including Best Music.

The MTV Movie Awards is being hosted by Russell Brand and will honor Johnny Depp with the "MTV Generation Award." The Black Keys will honor Johnny on stage with a look at his career past and present. Emma Stone will receive the first ever "MTV Trailbrazer Award" and she will also be a presenter. Other presenters include: Adam Sandler, Emma Watson, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg. Chart-topping indie-pop group fun. and rapper Wiz Khalifa are set to perform.
