"Disney's Planes" is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for racing-and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar. "Disney's Planes" is a High-Flying, Fun-Filled Adventure for the Whole Family!!

"Planes" is Disney's big animated must see movie of the summer. Right away, the audience meets Dusty, the ambitious crop-dusting airplane, who will fight against all odds to achieve his dream of becoming an aerial racer. Fed up with constantly flying back and forth over the same farm fields, Dusty begins training for the annual "Wings Around the Globe" competition. Dusty couldn't do this, however, without his close friends, and pit crew, Chug and Dottie.

Unfortunately, there is one major flaw with Dusty's dream and that is... he is afraid to fly high because he has never had to fly high before. Yes, an airplane that is afraid of heights. Luckily, and after a bit of convincing, Dusty finds himself a mentor named Skipper. Skipper was an ace flier and top instructor in the Navy until an accident led him to become quite the recluse. Together they train and push each other beyond what they thought they were capable of achieving.

Once the race around the world begins, Dusty finds himself surrounded by a realm of friends, foes, fans, and obstacles that he could never have imagined while back on the farm. Dusty's true talents are put to the test as opponents tell him he could never race like the rest of them. In the words of Dusty, "Look, I am more than just a crop duster!"
