ABC Family Presents: "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song"

It's a modern and enchanting twist on an enduring classic. Katie (Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars) dreams of being a recording artist, but is continually thwarted by her cruel stepmother (Missi Pyle) and stepsister (Megan Park of The Secret Life of the American Teenager). When Katie falls hard for Luke (Freddie Stroma), the new boy at her Performing Arts school, she tries to get his attention with her singing. But when her stepsister takes credit for Katie's amazing voice and Luke falls for the wrong girl, Katie must learn to stand up for her dreams before her stepmother forces Katie to sing Luke into the arms of her wicked stepsister.

Megan Park plays the "evil stepsister" in this modern version of the Cinderella story. She recently sat down with press for a Q & A about the movie, her role on
"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and future projects, including a movie with Miley Cyrus.

ABC Family’s “The Lying Game” Brings to Life Sara Shepard’s Book Series With Intrigue, Romance and Fashion

Inspired by the Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars) book series of the same name, The Lying Game follows long-lost twins Emma and Sutton. Separated under mysterious circumstances, Sutton was adopted by the wealthy Mercer family in Phoenix, while Emma grew up in the foster system. When the twins reunite as teenagers, they keep it a secret.

While Sutton goes in search of the truth, Emma takes over her life and discovers more secrets and lies than she could have imagined.

It's a season of secrets, seduction and life-and-death stakes as the twins continue to expose the skeletons in their family closet. Emma and Ethan's love is stronger than ever, but their relationship is tested by questionable motives and accusations. With Sutton's disappearance, Emma and Ethan don't know whether Sutton is missing or dead. Meanwhile, Char's aunt Annie has returned to town after many years, bringing back old memories and secrets that Alec and Ted would like to keep in the past.

Hallmark Channel Serves Up A Sweet Treat! Bailee Madison Co-Stars in “A Taste of Romance!”

All the ingredients for a sweet family film come together in the Hallmark Channel original movie “A Taste of Romance.”  Teri Polo (Sara) and James Patrick Stuart (Gill) star as rival chefs in competing local restaurants. Both cooks spend way too much time in the kitchen to avoid living life to the fullest.

Bailee Madison (fast becoming a favorite among the teen set, thanks in part to a hilarious stint on “Wizards of Waverly Place”) plays Gill’s daughter “Hannah.” Hannah is a well-meaning, young chef in training, who bonds with Sara over French Cuisine and the love of foreign language.  She is also somewhat of a matchmaker.

Thawing Out With A Group That Ain’t The Leavin’ Kind! Rascal Flatts Kick Off Their Winter Tour!

The day Rascal Flatts rolled into Charleston, WV to kick off their 2012 “Thaw Out” tour, an article ran in the local paper that featured an interview with Jay DeMarcus.  In this article, Jay talks about a time a couple of years ago when the super successful trio found out that their record label was closing.  The trio had serious discussions about whether or not it was just time to go their separate ways or was there more music to be made together?

I couldn’t help but think of that article during the concert where you were hard pressed to find an empty seat in the venue.  Well, actually, there were a lot of empty seats because the near-capacity crowd was on their feet through the entire Rascal set.  It was a top-notch night of entertainment from start to finish. ...More after the jump...

Glee: The Concert Movie Comes Home

A camera crew caught all the action on two tour stops to take the concert experience one step further. For all the fans who couldn’t get a ticket to the sold-out shows or weren’t close enough to a concert tour stop, a movie was made that will hit your local movie theater. Now fans who were able to see the musical extravaganza live can relive their favorite moments with “Glee” supporters who are seeing (and hearing) everything for the first time. “Glee: The Concert Movie” will have everyone singing in their seats.

“Mr. Popper’s Penguins” is a Gift For the Whole Family This Holiday Season!

Tom Popper is an incredibly successful business man but a real dud as a Dad.  His work leaves no time for his two children “Janie” and “Billy.”  Unfortunately, it’s sort of a Popper Family tradition, seeing as Tom’s Dad was always gone on the next great adventure, but never took Tom along.

As one final grand gesture to his son, Popper senior gifts six adorable penguins to Popper Junior.  Even if it is the thought that counts, penguins in a Park Avenue penthouse aren’t exactly practical. Tom is planning to pack them up and parade them off to the nearest zoo until his children find the little animals extremely fascinating and want to spend more time at their Dad’s so they can spend more time with their new cold-weather friends.

The penguins get the Popper’s into all kinds of trouble but every new obstacle just bonds the family even more.  Hilarity ensues as the penguins join in a game of soccer, take over a fundraiser and essentially wreak havoc on one very classy high rise. 

The fun, family film stars the always funny Jim Carrey as “Tom Popper,” with Madeline Carroll (brilliant in “Flipped) as “Janie” and Maxwell Perry Cotton (so cute as “Dennis the Menace”) as “Billy.”  The movie co-stars Angela Lansbury whose voice is incredibly familiar to us as “Ms. Potts” in “Beauty and the Beast.”
