Tucker Albrizzi might not be a household name just yet, but Disney Channel and Nickelodeon fans probably already know his face. In just over three short years, the actor has appeared in commercials, on television shows like “Good Luck Charlie” and “Big Time Rush,” and has done voice-over work in the “Buddies” franchise’s popular titles “Spookie Buddies” and “Treasure Buddies.”
Meet the Bunheads
"Bunheads" is the newest hit ABC Family show heating up the Summer TV season. Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls) the series follows a group of young ballet dancers and their unlikely mentor through growing up, dreaming big and living in the moment. Sutton Foster stars as a Las Vegas showgirl who impusively marries a man and moves to his hometown, a far cry from her bright lights, big city norm. When she takes over her mother-in-law's dance studio she's in for more than she bargained for becoming a role model for the young girls who's dreams live far outside the small coastal town.
"Bunheads" airs on ABC Family Monday nights at 9:00PM. Check out ABCFamily.go.com for more!
We got the chance to talk to the girls about being Bunheads and what it's like to work on the ABC Family show.
Summer Olympics Special : Warner Music Artists Share Their Thoughts
Krista from The Farm: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? “My kind of Olympics… the Summer X Games, motocross of course!" Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “In 2006 when Travis Pastrana won gold at the Moto X Freestyle Finals doing a double back flip!!! What?!” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why? “Uhh yeah…Pastrana! #199 all the way! He has now won 10 X Game Gold medals in super cross, motocross, freestyle & rally racing. That’s bad ass in my book!"
Damian from The Farm: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? “100 yard dash.” Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “Carl Lewis becoming the fastest man alive” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why? "Carl Lewis"
Dara Maclean: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? "Gymnastics. I was a gymnast for five or six years. I love watching it!” Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “The Magnificent Seven, the victorious all-around women’s gymnastics team that represented the United States at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why? “Kerri Strug. She is by far my favorite, because of her courage and commitment. Her bravery in the face of fear and her unwavering passion.”
Jana Kramer: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? “It would definitely be Gymnastics! I wish I could do half the stuff they can! They are amazing!” Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “When Misty May and Kerri Walsh won for the second time in 2008 after winning in 2004...I love volleyball so it was awesome to see them kick butt! Girl power:)” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why? “Kristi Yamaguchi...I grew up skating and she was always my idol!”
Dave Frey from Sidewalk Prophets: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? “If I could compete and win the gold in an Olympic sport it would easily be table tennis. It really is unreal to watch those guys play! I used to believe that I was a ping pong master in college until the first moment I witnessed Olympic table tennis. If I could somehow have the chops to compete against those guys, all my college friends would finally have to admit that I am the king of ping pong.” Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “The Atlanta Olympics in 1996 were so much fun to watch. I’ll never forget my entire family gathered around the TV the night the women’s gymnastics team won gold. My mom literally screamed. The USA basketball team that year was amazing. I also fondly remember watching the swimming events and then my buddy and me trying to race each other in the local pool. The best part is that the worst I could do was silver. It was an awesome summer, and the patriotism and moving stories of the Olympics made it even more memorable.” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why? “My favorite Olympians were the entire 1996 women’s gymnastics team…and even though he never competed, Bella Karolyi. Bella’s passionate encouragement brought home gold and was parodied on Conan O’Brien for years.”
Frankie Ballard: If you could compete in an event at the Summer Olympics, what would it be and why? “The 100 meter, because if I was doin’ that…I’d be a speedy son of a gun!” Any memorable Olympic event you recall? “The ‘Miracle on Ice’! I know it was the Winter Olympics, but when the Russians went down, it was huge!” Do you have a favorite Olympian? Why?“ I always liked Michael Johnson. He wore those gold shoes and just flew around the track!”

A Musical Love Triangle Unfolds in Disney’s “Let it Shine!”
Music and love create the drama in the original Disney Channel movie “Let it Shine,” now available on DVD! The story, brought to life by talented actors Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris), CoCo Jones (So Random), and Trevor Jackson (Eureka), is a modern day spin on the literary classic Cyrano de Bergerac.
In this version, Cyrus and Kris and are anxious to be reunited with Roxie, a friend from childhood who has gone on to become a singing sensation. Roxie’s music label is sponsoring a songwriting competition and Chris (who uses the name “Truth” when he writes) enters a song that he wrote which was inspired by his feelings for Roxie.
Check out clips from the movie here:
Things get super complicated when the song accidently gets credited to Kris who doesn’t say anything about not really being the writer. This leads to him getting closer to Roxie as well. Can Cyrus gain enough self-confidence and trust in his talent to stand up for himself before he loses everything? You’ll have a great time singing along as you find out how this musical mess ends!
As a bonus, the DVD also includes an extended rap battle scene between Cyrus and his nemesis Bling. More music is always a good thing! Pick up your copy of “Let it Shine” at most places where DVD’s are sold.
You can also order it on-line here: Amazon.com

Oz the Great and Powerful
Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well. Opens March 8. Disney.
