The music video was directed by Mickey Finnegan (LMFAO) and filmed at the world famous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The video concept follows the buoyant theme the song showing Stefano having “the best night” of his life.

Jordin Sparks to Help One Student Travel to Japan

Grammy nominated singer and People to People alum Jordin Sparks is helping judge a contest that will send one lucky student to Japan in an effort to help the country after the devastating tsunami last year.

People to People Ambassador Programs, the world leader in global educational travel experiences, today launched the Act for Japan contest in partnership with MTV Act to give away one full tuition travel scholarship. Platinum selling recording artist and People to People alum, Jordin Sparks, will act as the final contest judge, selecting one student to travel to Japan to provide aid in communities devastated by the 2011 tsunami.

Students interested in entering the contest, and participating in hands-on service projects through the Spirit of Japan program, must submit a video explaining why they love Japan and want to give back by May 18, 2012. Jordin Sparks, who participated on a People to People program to Europe last summer, will select the contest winner. The contest is open to full-time students, in junior high and high school, ages 13-19. Contest submission details can be found at www.P2PActForJapan.com.

In anticipation for the Blu-ray/DVD release of "Chronicle" Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and IGN have teamed up for "Film School Chronicles" - a filmmaking contest. The competition will run through the IGN Facebook page until May 22nd challenging users to create 30-90 second videos on the subject of the extraordinary. The best submission, as judged by Chronicle Director Josh Trank, will receive a fantastic Digital SLR camera set-up and the chance to fly to LA and meet with Josh.

Camryn Joins One Direction on Tour

5280 Media recording artist Camryn will team up with One Direction on their sold-out arena tour, which kicks off May 22 in Connecticut.

With nearly 1.4 million Facebook fans and over 100,000 followers on Twitter, Camryn’s fan base continues to grow exponentially by the day. Just last month, she made her concert debut in Asia, performing for fans in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

“I’ve been touring non-stop over the last year, but I cannot even begin to describe how excited and honored I feel to share the stage with 1D,” she explains. “I got to see them in concert during their last tour and it was an incredible, inspiring show.”

Hollywood Records has announced the latest addition to their chart-topping roster with the signing of actress/singer Coco Jones to an exclusive recording and publishing deal. Coco stars in Disney Channel’s upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Let It Shine.”

In 2010, at age 12, Coco was a part of Radio Disney's prominent “N.B.T.” talent showcase. Since then, she guest starred and performed her single "Stand Up" in the Disney Channel’s series "So Random!" and headlined a series of Radio Disney concerts. In addition, Jones has performed at festivals, malls and theatres across the country and performed the National Anthem twice at National Football League games.

She headlines the Disney Channel Original Movie “Let It Shine” premiering Friday, June 15 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT. The music-driven story, inspired by Cyrano de Bergerac, is set in the world of hip-hop, rap and gospel music and reflects the challenges and triumphs of discovering one's true self. Tyler James Williams ("Everybody Hates Chris") and Trevor Jackson ("Eureka") also star. The soundtrack debuts June 12 on Walt Disney Records.

Avengers In Space!

Marvel Studios announced yesterday that they arranged with NASA to transfer their record-breaking blockbuster film “Marvel’s The Avengers” to NASA’s Mission Control in Houston, which will uplink the film to the International Space Station (ISS), currently orbiting 220 miles above Earth. The film will then be screened for the space station crew’s exclusive enjoyment.

This screening continues Marvel’s collaboration with NASA, which began during principal photography of “Marvel’s The Avengers” when the film shot at the Space Power Facility at NASA’s Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio.

The Walt Disney Studios announced today that Marvel’s The Avengers posted an estimated $200.3 million in its domestic debut May 4-6, shattering previous records and positioning the film as the highest-grossing domestic debut of all time. The film’s cumulative global box office gross is an estimated $641.8 million over 12 days in release.

In just three days, Marvel’s the Avengers is the fastest movie to reach $200 million domestically. The domestic debut kicked off Friday, May 4 and marks the second highest single day take of all time at $80.5 million. Saturday’s box office gross of $69.7 million is the highest Saturday take of all time. Moviegoers gave Marvel’s The Avengers a rare and perfect A+ CinemaScore.

Marvel’s The Avengers began opening internationally April 25 and crossed the $600 million mark globally May 6 after just 12 days in release.

On April 14th across the US fans of the upcoming hero film written and directed by Joss Whedon got a first look at the movie in IMAX 3D! Actress Keke Palmer, who voices Peaches, a young wooly mammoth, in the upcoming feature film Ice Age: Continental Drift, was joined by San Diego Zoo Director of Operations Bob Dillon and Elephant keeper Ron Ringer for the opening. 

The theater is adjacent to the 7.5-acre Elephant Odyssey, home to Peaches’ descendants and more than 35 species of animals. Asian elephants meander a 2.5-acre exhibit that includes a 137,000-gallon pool, gentle rolling hills, hidden drinkers and feeders to entice foraging, and the half-acre Conrad Prebys Elephant Care Center.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - The 4-D experience is a 14-minute thrill ride featuring sub-zero heroes Manny, Ellie and Diego, who venture into a mysterious underground world after Sid the Sloth stumbles across three abandoned eggs and decides to raise them as his own.  Once the eggs hatch, the adventure begins in the lost world of the dinosaurs.  Viewed in eye-popping 3-D, the film features an all-star voice cast, including Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary and Queen Latifah.  The attraction first opened at Alton Towers in the United Kingdom and Gardaland in Italy – the number one theme park resorts in their respective territories.

The singer's grandmother "Nanny" will be hand-making each quilt.

RCA Nashville recording artist Chris Young continues his feverish support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases, by offering up a one-of-a-kind handmade quilt designed and produced by his grandmother, “Nanny.”

May’s quilt, which highlights many of the songs Chris has recorded across his three albums, is available for bidding via the Forum on Chris Young’s official website. Bids can be made on the Chris Chatter Forum on his website. A new quilt, handmade by “Nanny,” will be offered each month with all monies donated to St. Jude.

“I think it’s really cool that Nanny has taken up the cause to help raise money for these incredible St. Jude kids who are fighting for their lives,” said Young. “I hope my fans will check out her handmade quilts each month and consider making a bid to help support St. Jude.”

Secret World of ArriettyDiscover the “Secret World of Arrietty” on Blu-ray and DVD!

Based on the story, “The Borrowers,” a new adaptation called “The Secret World of Arrietty” has been brought to life and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 22.  Japanese writer, Hayao Miyazaki creates his take on a beloved children’s story that has tiny people called “The Borrowers” living under the houses of human beings.  Without being seen, the Borrowers must take necessary items from the humans in order to survive.

In this Americanized version, Disney star Bridgit Mendler voices “Arrietty,” a teenage borrower who is about to go on her first borrowing run.  She is accidentally seen by “Shawn,” (voiced by another Disney favorite, David Henry) and a unique friendship is formed. 

The all-star voice cast also includes Carol Burnett, Will Arnet, Amy Poehler, and Moises Arias (Hannah Montana).  See a clip from the movie here:
